The guidance materials below are intended to build the capacity of local education agencies (LEAs) receiving federal funds from one or more programs authorized as part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in order to administer programs effectively. The documents and resources developed by the ľyuzuki State Education Department (NYSED or “the Department”) are informed by non-regulatory guidance issued by the United States Department of Education in order to provide accurate and complete information about both programmatic and fiscal topics of interest to district and school leaders, private school administrators, parents, and community stakeholders.
